Dubuque’s 15th Annual Catfish Festival, a river festival in the heart of the Midwest The Catfish Festival is in it’s 15th year and has become a tradition and favorite for summer entertainment. It will be held at McDonald Park on Hawthorne Street on the edge of the Mississippi River. This years agenda provides enjoyment for all ages. There will be many food vendors to cater to your taste buds, commercial vendors for that spare change in your pocket, a carnival for all ages, paintball, Tootie Express train rides, Magic shows, face painting , and the fist goes on.

Also for $1.00 donation you could win $500, proceeds go to Senior High School Scholarship. Sign up for free prizes.

Thursday, June 22 - KIDS DAY

Festival grounds open at 4pm

4:00 pm - Festival grounds open
4:00 pm - Carnival, vendors, and commercial, craft vendors open
4:00 pm to 7:30 pm - CATCH III band playing
8:30 pm to 11:30 pm - MISSISSIPPI band playing


 

Friday, June 23 - SENIOR CITIZENS DAY

Festival grounds open at 12:00 pm
Adults 55 and over get FREE admission from 12 pm to 4 pm
Free Parking and shuttle service from the parking lot to entrance
Free coupons to the first 1000 who enter

12:00pm – Festival grounds open
12:00pm – Euchre tournament under the Big Tent
12:00pm – Vendors, commercial and craft tent opens
 3:00pm – Carnival opens, Tootie Express Train ride 
 3:00pm – Famous Catfish or Chicken Dinner starts serving 
               $8.00 catfish, $6.00 chicken tenders
 4:00pm to 7:30pm – Musical group LEGENDS
 8:30pm to 11:30pm – CENTER STAGE

The Catfish Festival has flourished for over 15 years now because of Donna Ginter and her committee's commitment to providing good family entertainment to the Dubuque Community and public support of the festival has been strong.
