Your responsibilities include attendance at the regular club meetings whenever possible, participating in the work of one of the club's subcommittees, and responding to the call for your service in the major fundraising and service projects of the club. Who can join Kiwanis? Kiwanis members represent a cross section of occupations within the community. All individuals over 18 years of age are invited to apply for membership, regardless of gender, race, creed, or national origin. How do I join? Joining the Dubuque Kiwanis Club is easy - simply attend one of the meetings and fill out the necessary membership application. Upon your acceptance, you will participate in a simple, but dignified induction service to be held during a regular club meeting. At this time, your sponsor will call you forward and introduce you to the general membership. After this, you will be formally inducted into the club, presented with your pin, badge, and other materials.
