Dubuque Kiwanis Grants Overview
The Dubuque Kiwanis Club annually distributes over $20,000 to Dubuque area charitable organizations and our Sponsored Youth outreach. Funds are raised through our fundraising efforts including the AYSO/ Kiwanis Youth Soccerfest, Dubuque County Fair Kiwanis food concession booth, and Kiwanis Peanut Days. Programs to benefit youth are the focus of Kiwanis Clubs. The Youth Service Committee administers the largest portion of our grant money, the Community Service Committtee gets a smaller portion. The Sponsored Youth Committee administers supplemental funding of the Key Clubs at Hempstead and Senior High Schools and the K-Kids program at Hoover Elementary School.
Charitable organizations in the area are invited to apply for funding for their programs.
Enrollment is generally concluded by Nov 15th for the administrative year to follow. Please contact our Club Secretary, Nancy Lewis for an application: execdirector@project-concern.org
