Pin Oak Park: 103 acres of scenic picnic and camping area along the Maquoketa River, offers fishing and hunting. The old Rocky Ford river crossing, a shallow stretch of river tumbling over rock river bottom, is within the park. It has fireplaces well, shelter, electrical hookups for campers, toilets and playground equipment. Tirrill Park: West Union St., and Iowa 13, has picnic area, gardens, lighted aquatic center and tennis court. History* Little Red Schoolhouse, four miles north of
Manchester, is preserved as a historical site, with picnic tables, fireplaces

Manchester, has camping and trailer facilities for about 70 families and
housekeeping cabins for about 80 families. There are four resorts on the
man-made lake that offer boating and fishing. Most offer swimming. A boat
marina is available for launching, and bait and groceries are sold at the
