AttractionsThe name "Strawberry Point"
goes back to the days of 1841, when Iowa was still a territory. To celebrate
the town's unusual name, members of the historic community have mounted a
symbolic strawberry at the site of the City Hall. Each year the second weekend
of June is designated as" Strawberry Days", and marks the beginning
of three days of activities. Free strawberries and ice cream are served on the
last day of the festival. Berry Nice Antiques offers the shopper yet another opportunity to browse.
