Riding with a state trooper

After a recent column on the danger of driving on U.S. 20 from Peosta to Dubuque (i.e. crazy drivers) I was asked by Iowa State Trooper Jeff Driscoll to ride along with him. On Sunday, Jan. 18, I was a passenger with Driscoll as he patroled U.S. 20.

It was an eye-opening experience.
