Brown Bottle Bandits, formerly Badfish, is a 5 piece band out of Dubuque with a songlist different from any band in the area. These guys mix all sorts of genres into their own sound you need to get a taste of.
Corey Jenny is a country/Americana/blues singer/songwriter who sometimes teams up up w/ rhythm section art ranney, and mike steckling as Mojo Busted, doing covers and originals with an original rockabilly/country/bluesy style.
DOWN 24 is a rock/funk band from Clinton, IA formed in 2002. Our diverse set list caters to many tastes & we are even known to throw in an original every now & then. We believe in having a great time & putting on the best show we possibly can every time we are on stage!

The Lonely Goats are bringing the fun back to the dance floor. The Goats play a wide variety of songs you might know, sometimes played in completely different styles than you might be used to hearing them, a few originals, and a few songs you might never have heard but definitely should. Dance, Latin, funk, rock, reggae, ska, blues, hillbilly, surf, and zydeco are all fair game.

These women perform a variety of traditional, contemporary, and original folk songs with diverse instrumentation. The band features Pearl Breitbach on upright bass, Riley Schultz on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and Lily Sprengelmeyer on banjo and guitar. The musicians make a dynamic team singing tight harmonies and having just as much fun as the audience members. You won't want to miss The Matriarchs!
The Swamp Cats are a 4-piece band based in Manchester that plays a variety of music, including rock ‘n’ roll, country & blues. All four members, including a 2014 Iowa Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee & a finalist in the Texaco Country Showdown competition, are experienced, entertaining musicians who have been in the entertainment business for years. They have previously been members of popular Iowa bands Greenbrier, Crystal Axe, Cousin Eddie, Windfall Jac & The Basics.

The Upper Main Street Jazz Band was formed in 1987 by the late Dick Zimmer, a well-known area musician and music educator. The six to eight piece band has performed all over the tri-state area, including: The Eagle Ridge Inn, The Dubuque Golf and Country Club, The DeSoto Hotel, The Prarie du Chien Boat Club, University of Wisconsin/Platteville, Clarke University, The Dubuque Arts
Councils’ Artists in Residence series, The Spirit of Dubuque, The Midway Hotel, The Dubuque Inn, The Hotel Julien Dubuque, Diamond Jack’s in Des Moines, Thunder Hills Country Club, Bell Tower Theater, The Holiday Inn-Five Flags, The Iowa State Fairgrounds, The Silver Eagle, Mystique Casino, Pelican Pier, The Dubuque Arboretum, The Grand Opera House, Rainbow Lounge, Hawkeye Bank of Dubuque, DubuqueFest, RiverFest, the Cat Trackers' Catfish Festival, America’s River Festival, The Dubuque County Fair, the Mississippi Moon Bar at Dubuque Diamond Jo, and many events for the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Dubuque Development Corporation.
The music is primarily pre-1940, and includes everything from Big Band to Swing to Polkas to Dixieland. The band's repertoire includes several hundred pieces.
Upper Main Street utilizes several musicians, so the make up of the band varies slightly and allows some flexibility. Generally the core group is made up of Ric Jones, Drummer and Leader; Bill Encke, Guitar; Chuck Bregman, Piano; Bill Rowley, Trumpet; Brian Enabnit, Trombone; David Resnick, Clarinet, Saxophones & vocals; and Mark Oberfoell, Electric Bass Guitar. Megan Gloss is our Lead Vocalist.
Other local legends have performed with the band over the years, including Paul Powers on trombone, Don Boal on guitar, Don Dugan on trumpet, Chuck Crimmins on bass and vocals and the late Rocky Rockhold on piano and vocals.

Calkins Midway is our carnival and we have free entertainment for the kids in our Alternative Recycling Ag Tent, Scott Implement Kids Tent, and Wisconsin Bank & Trust Entertainment Tent. Thursday is family night with Mutton Bustin, Calf Contest, and Donkey Racing starting at 6:30pm. Friday night we are have a rodeo starting at 7pm. Saturday is the ATV Garden Tractor Pulling at 9am and our local Tractor Pull including the Antique Pullers and South Central Pullers starting at 6:30pm.
